The editorial board is international and original unpublished papers are welcome from throughout the world. The journal is devoted primarily to research papers, but very high quality survey and tutorial papers are also published.

There is no publication charge for the authors.

Peer Review Process

Upon receipt a manuscript, the following process will be conducted. The submission will be checked to be within the scope of the journal. Articles which are not within the MJEM Scope will be rejected. The format of the paper will also be checked to obey the MJEM MSWord template. Also, the authors are required to submit an MSWord copy of their manuscript. Failing to do so, will result in immediate reject. The manuscript is then checked by a plagiarism detector tool. All submissions with more than 25% similarity reported by the tool will be rejected immediately.

MJEM publishes only peer-reviewed papers. The editor-in-chief assigns each submitted manuscript to a Section Editor, who will rely on at least two anonymous reviewers to decide on the acceptance of the paper, on mandatory modifications, or rejection of the paper. The Author is responsible for checking the galley proofs prior to publication. The review process may take approximately two ~three months to be completed. Targeted publication time is six months from the end of the month in which the manuscript is received, provided that the author responds immediately to all communications. All judgments and findings in the peer-review process are objective. Upon assignment, each reviewer must state that he/she has no conflict of interest. They also point out any relevant published work which is yet to be cited. The figure below shows the processing step of a submitted paper.

Open Access Policy

The journal provides readers with immediate free access to all published content.

Publication Schedule

MJEM publishes quarterly in on the first of March, June, September, and December.

Publication Fee

There is no publication fee for publication in MJEM.

Copyright and access

The journal provides readers with immediate free access to all published content.

All volumes are available for free and all articles are accessible in PDF format. The journal does not publish any hard copy of the issues.

During the submission process, the authors will be asked to electronically sign a Transfer of Copyright. This will give the MJEM the right to publish the article and to take action in the case of improper use. Note that the purpose of transfer of copyright is not to prevent the authors to reuse their works nor to forbid to distribute their published articles in anyway except republications in other journals, conferences, books, and other resources.

Conflict of Interest:

Obligations of Authors

The authors must report all sources of funding for the research presented. This include any kind of financial support, supply of equipment or materials, and other types of support.

If there are no conflicts, the authors will be asked to electronically sing that "The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest related to this article."

It is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author to assure that each Co-author is aware of this Policy and to ensure that all required funding and disclosure information is included for all authors.

Authors are obliged to submit a correction if a previously unrecognized conflict of interest is discovered after publication. In case of any misconduct, the paper will be rejected and will be deleted from the journal archive. All authors will become deprived of making any new submission.

Obligations of Section Editors and Reviewers

Section Editors/Reviewers are responsible to report any conflicts of interest, and avoid cases in which such conflicts prevent an objective evaluation.

If a submission competes with the research of a section editor/reviewer such that the review process cannot be handled objectively in the section editor's opinion, she/he must decline responsibility for that particular case.

Article submissions from section editors are managed directly by the editor in chief and she/he ensures no details of the review process, other than those available to all authors, are accessible to the section editor.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Majlesi Journal of Energy Management (MJEM) follows the ethical policies of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and thus its ethical policy is based on COPE guidelines and complies with the International Committee of Journal Editorial Board codes of conduct. This is a form of scientific misconduct since it misrepresents the importance of the specific work and publication in which it appears.

Simultaneous Submission:

Simultaneous submission occurs when a manuscript (or substantial sections from a manuscript) is submitted to a journal when it is already under consideration by another journal.

Redundant Publications:

Redundant publications involve the inappropriate division of study outcomes into several articles, most often consequent to the desire to plump academic vitae.

Improper Author Contribution or Attribution:

All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. Don’t forget to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution, including students and laboratory technicians.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is intentionally using someone else’s ideas or other original material as if they are one's own. Copying even one sentence from someone else’s manuscript, or even one of your own that has previously been published, without proper citation, is considered by MJTD as plagiarism. All manuscripts under review or published with MJTD are subject to screening using plagiarism prevention tools (iThenticate, and turnitin). Thus, plagiarism is a serious violation of publication ethics. The authors are expected to check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission.

If plagiarism is detected during peer review, the submission can be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication we reserve the right, as necessary, to issue a correction or retract the article. We reserve the right to notify the institutions of authors about the plagiarism that was found before or after publication.

All authors are strongly recommended to check the content of their manuscript before submission to the journal for publication. The Authors may use trustable valid plagiarism-checking tools to make sure that their manuscripts are Plagiarism free. If the Reviewers, Editors-in-Chief, Readers or Editorial Staffs suspect or notice any type of plagiarism at any stage of the publication process, the manuscript will be rejected and all authors including the corresponding author will be notified then. Self-plagiarism is also considered and managed accordingly.

COPE’s code of conduct and flowcharts will be used if any Plagiarism is detected in a submitted manuscript or if it is found in a published paper.

The Principles of Transparency

Study Design and Ethical Approval

Good research should be well-justified, well-planned, appropriately designed, and ethically approved. They have been described as those which, when revealed later, would make a reasonable reader feel misled or deceived. They may be personal, commercial, political, academic, or financial. “Financial” interests may include employment, research funding, stock or share ownership, payment for lectures or travel, consultancies, and company support for staff.

Peer-Review

This journal uses Double-blind peer review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. Authors have the right to communicate to the editor if they do not wish their manuscript to be reviewed by a particular reviewer because of potential conflicts of interest. No article is rejected unless negative comments are received from at least two reviewers. This process, as well as any policies related to the journal’s peer review procedures, is clearly described on the journal’s Web site (Peer review process journal page link).

Archiving

The plan for electronic backup and preservation of access to the journal's content (https://mjtd.isfahan.iau.ir/) is clearly indicated.

Authors entrust editors with the results of their scientific work and creative effort when they submit manuscripts for review, and their reputation and career may be at stake. Disclosure of confidential details during the review of an author's manuscript may be a violation of their rights. Reviewers have the right to confidentiality, which the editor must respect. If there is a suspicion of dishonesty or fraud, confidentiality may have to be breached, but it must be honored otherwise. Besides the authors and reviewers, editors are prohibited from disclosing information about manuscripts (including their receipt, content, status in the reviewing process, reviewer criticism, or ultimate fate). Requests to use the materials in legal proceedings are included in this category.

Editors must clarify to reviewers that manuscripts sent for review are privileged communications and the authors' private property. As a result, reviewers and editorial staff must respect the authors' rights by refraining from publicly discussing or appropriating the authors' work before the manuscript is published. Reviewers should not be allowed to make copies of the manuscript for their files, and they should not be allowed to share it with others except if the editor permits them. After submitting reviews, reviewers should return or destroy copies of the manuscripts. Editors should not keep copies of manuscripts that have been rejected. Without the permission of the reviewer, author, and editor, reviewer comments should not be published or otherwise made public.

Ownership and management

Isfahan Branch, Islamic Azad University

Governing Body

MJTD editorial board are recognized experts in the subject areas included within the journal’s scope. This article examines how hybrid programming can enhance AI and ML, by looking at its benefits, applications, and potential. Hybrid programming can boost performance, flexibility, modularity, code reusability, and scalability by using the strengths of different programming models. It can also be applied to real-world problems such as natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and deep learning. However, hybrid programming faces some challenges such as integration complexity and learning curves that have to be overcome. Hybrid programming can influence the future of AI and ML, by supporting the creation of specialized hardware architectures, efficient algorithms, and seamless integration with emerging technologies like quantum computing.
2024-02-14T00:00:00+0330 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
